GREEN BAY – The Packers changed the injury status of linebacker Blake Martinez (wrist/hand) on Saturday, listing him as questionable to play in Kansas City. Martinez had been on the Week 8 injury report, fully participating in Wednesday-Friday practices, but was originally removed on Friday.
Savage has missed the past two games after injuring his ankle against Dallas on Oct. 6, but returned to practice this week in a limited capacity. He had 18 tackles, three passes defensed, an interception and forced fumble in five starts prior to his injury.
Linsley returned to practice Friday after sitting out Thursday with a back injury. Head Coach Matt LaFleur told reporters after practice Linsley’s absence Thursday was “totally precautionary.”
Adams has missed the last three games with turf toe. He stretched with the team in pre-practice this week, but has yet to be cleared for a return since sustaining the injury against Philadelphia last month.
“I’m trying every day to get back to where I was and I’m just not quite there yet,” said Adams on Thursday. “I feel two million times better than what I did and I’ve made a lot of progress, I got a lot of different things I couldn’t do at this point last week, so as it continues to heal, we’ll have more time, feeling better and better.”
Tight end Robert Tonyan (hip) also has been listed as doubtful. Tonyan practiced in pads Thursday, but didn’t participate in Friday’s session.
Meanwhile, Kansas City will be without reigning MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who practiced in a limited capacity this week after dislocating his knee against Denver last Thursday.
Veteran Matt Moore will start in Mahomes’ place. The 35-year-old quarterback completed 10-of-19 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown to help close out Kansas City’s 30-6 win over the Broncos.
The Packers removed 13 other players from the injury report who are expected to play: quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee), receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) and Allen Lazard (back), tight ends Jimmy Graham (ankle) and Marcedes Lewis (veteran rest), tackle Bryan Bulaga (veteran rest), defensive lineman Kenny Clark (shin), linebackers B.J. Goodson (shoulder) and Oren Burks (chest), safeties Adrian Amos (shoulder) and Will Redmond (ankle), and Tony Brown (hamstring), Tramon Williams (knee).
In addition to Mahomes, Kansas City ruled out five additional starters: defensive linemen Frank Clark (neck) and Chris Jones (groin), left tackle Eric Fisher (groin), left guard Andrew Wylie (ankle), and cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb).
Linebacker Darron Lee (illness) is questionable to play.
